Best friends

Brooklyn and Josie are quite the team and they sure love each other. Sometimes we wonder why Josie tolerates Brooklyn. Brooklyn latest 'entertainment' is chasing Josie through the house with her walking toy. The more Josie jumps and runs, the harder Brooklyn laughs. They are fun to watch together.

15 months

Brooklyn's 15 month appointment went well! The doctor said she's in great health. She loves to babble and says, "Momma," quite frequently. It's absolutely the best to listen to her laugh. She started walking recently and loves her new moves. She's recently discovered her tongue (see picture below) and that she can blink her eyes.


We continue to be blessed with a happy, healthy and active little lady.

Meet Camilla the Love Goddess, the newest member of our family. Brooklyn enjoys watching her eat and move around in her home.

Brooklyn's been mastering her walking skills over the last month but has really taken off this week. We're so proud of our baby girl. She's getting so big (too fast!).

Thanksgiving 2011

This year we spent Thanksgiving with family in St. James, MN. Brooklyn enjoyed trying lots of new foods and rocked her silver boots. It was great to introduce her to some of our extended family and spend time with Uncles Paul and Garrett and Great Grandma June.

We have much to be thankful for this year.

Oh, how fun!

Nothing is safe in our home anymore. She's into everything...including the toilet paper.

I think I can...

Brooklyn is getting closer and closer to walking. Now all she wants to do is be on her feet. We can only imagine the messes she'll create when she gets quicker. Eeck!

Girls week/end

Brooklyn and I joined Grandma Donna, Dina and Brianna on a girls weekend -- mother/daughter -- in Treasure Island, FL. The weather was beautiful making it easy to spend lots of time outside. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach, mini golf, playing games, vegging out, shelling, and watching the sunset.
