Book smart

Brooklyn enjoys reading and she has a lot of great books!

Salon fun!

Brooklyn and mommy enjoy seeing Miss Amy to get their hair cut. She makes us beautiful!

BIG Girl!

We are so proud of our big girl! Following our provider's lead, we tackeled both potty-training and switching Brooklyn's crib to a toddler bed. I can't say we were excited about either transition -- due to all the horror stories parents share -- but to our surprise, Brooklyn tackled both very quickly and only had a few accidents. She is growing up so quickly and we are so proud of how well she adapts to all the change.

Puppy love

These two are just too cute!

Valentine's Day

Brooklyn started her Valentine's day celebrations with a party at Mrs. Bridgets. We continued the festivies at home. She's our special valentine!

Snow day

Brooklyn thoroughly loves playing in the snow. She also likes to eat the snow just as much. Between day care and weekends, we get outside often.

Helping Mommy and Daddy

Brooklyn proves to be very helpful around the house -- from plumbing to baking -- she does it all!

Sick girl

Brooklyn caught one of the bugs going around. She was down and out with a fever and nasty cold.

Hockey fan?

B-R-O-O-K-L-Y-N

She can spell her name. :)

Fun at home

Brooklyn keeps us on our toes most days. She loves playing with stickers -- and occasionally sticking them on mom and dad while napping -- cheering on the Vikings, helping make pancakes, and playing with play dough.

Day care anniversary

Brooklyn's one-year day care anniversary was January 16. Mrs. Bridget always has lots of fun things to do to keep the kids entertained and learning. Brooklyn has made lots of friends and loves going each day. We're so lucky to have found, Mrs. Bridget! Our gratitude for all of her work with Brooklyn cannot be expressed enough. XOXO

Uncle Brian!

We got to see Uncle Brian when he came home for the holidays. While we would have loved to spend more time with him, we enjoyed the time we got. We hope to see you soon, Brian!

Christmas 2012

We enjoyed spending Christmas in MN with Mike's family this year. Brooklyn helped us celebrate the season by picking out our tree, participating in our annual tour-de-graves, going to the Erickson;'s for the annual dinner and evening together, and spending time with family.
